My teammates that are nearby went in yesterday to pick up our servers. They were soaked, and we were two rows away from the fire. I'm surprised they don't have a Novec (or some other waterless fire suppression) system.
It sounded like they were working to empty out the entire suite. We were offered the option to re-rack in a different suite.
Then it seems the facilities in the colo 4 space may have been irreparably damaged, and the area needs to be cleared for recovery efforts. Can your soaked servers still be powered on? or, what percentage of servers remain operational after re-rack in a different suite ? thanks. |
